Scheduling shifts in Managewise is designed to be simple and user-friendly. With drag-and-drop functionality, managers can:

  • Select employees from a list and assign them to shifts by dragging their name onto the calendar.

  • Adjust shift timings by dragging the shift block to a different time slot.

  • Resize shifts to extend or shorten working hours as needed.

  • Quickly fill open shifts without manual data entry, reducing scheduling errors.

Employees receive real-time notifications when a shift is assigned, changed, or cancelled.

Preventing Double Booking

To avoid overlapping shifts and scheduling conflicts, Managewise includes a double booking prevention system:

  • If an employee is already assigned to a shift, the system will flag any new conflicts.

  • Managers will receive an alert if they attempt to assign an employee to two overlapping shifts.

  • Employees cannot accidentally clock in for multiple shifts at the same time, ensuring accurate time tracking.

This feature eliminates confusion and prevents payroll discrepancies caused by scheduling errors.
